What
do you know, October has come around which means Good Food Month and I’m almost at
the end of growing this mini human. While I’m most looking forward to motherhood,
my current freer status means that there is still time to indulge in Sugar
Hits! And while I’m glad that Good Food Month has reverted to its much
easier-to-remember former name, it’s a shame that Sugar Hits has taken on the
new moniker of Let’s Do Dessert – why change
what we know and love?
First
cab off the rank for Monsieur Poisson and I this year is Glass Brasserie, with
its enticingly-described offering of “Chocolate dêlice with peanut butter
ice-cream and salted caramel popcorn”.
Glass
is serving their Sugar Hit with Brown Brothers’ Moscato, which staff were kind
enough to replace with a pot of Japanese green tea for this mother-to-be.

happy
eating!
Yum! Peanut butter, chocolate and popcorn! I bet bub wanted more of that! Also excited for your impending arrival :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great combination to kick start Sugar Hits, seriously!
DeleteThat looks really yum! And I agree, Good Food Month sounds much better!
ReplyDeleteThe name's so much easier to remember too!
DeleteYeah, it's still a Sugar Hit to me ;) Love desserts with popcorn.
ReplyDeletePopcorn is so simple but brings out the child in everyone heh.
DeleteOoh this is my Sugar Hit of choice after looking at the lineup this month - it does sound very Snickers-y from your description!
ReplyDeletePosh Snickers and oh-so-good too!
DeleteIt will always be known as Sugar Hit, how dare they go changing the name ;)
ReplyDeleteHow many do you think you will fit in this year???? May need to chat to mini human about that one.
We've done 4 but in a much more abbreviated period of time this year - sugar high, whoo!
DeleteALmost at the end of growing this human :-). I am glad you're well and strong...and I wish you ALL the very best.
ReplyDeleteLots of love and hugs X X X
Thanks Oz, starting to feel large and cumbersome!
